Our Concrete Restoration services typically include a combination of:

  • During the EVALUATION STAGE, conduct a review of the available original structural drawings.
  • During the EVALUATION STAGE, conduct a visual review of the condition of the concrete components such as concrete foundation walls, garage roof slabs and suspended slabs. This review includes a hammer tap survey of the concrete to identify delaminated and/or spalled concrete, and corroded/exposed rebars. We document the extent of the repairs in a plan drawing.
  • During the PROJECT MANUAL STAGE (Design & Tender), prepare and issue concrete repair details and specifications, upon approval and consultation with the client, to a list of pre-approved qualified contractors.
  • During the PROJECT MANUAL STAGE, organize and lead a contractors’ or bidders’ meeting at the site prior to tender closing.
  • During the PROJECT MANUAL STAGE, issue addenda and clarifications to bidders’ queries, as required.
  • During the PROJECT MANUAL STAGE, receive and analyze bids, and make a recommendation of contract award based on pricing, schedule and qualifications of the contractor.
  • During the FIELD REVIEW and CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION STAGE, conduct periodic field reviews of concrete restoration elements and issue a field review report after each visit.
  • During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, confirm that the appropriate material specifications are being met and liaise with the appropriate manufacturers.
  • During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, prepare change notices, review and recommend change order prices submitted by the contractor.
  • During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, review progress draws and issue certificates of payment.
  • During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, prepare Substantial Performance Certificate and contractor’s warranties.
  • During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, prepare a detailed outstanding deficiency list at the time of Substantial Performance and follow-up with satisfactory rectification.
