- During the EVALUATION STAGE,review the original architectural waterproofing drawings.
- During the EVALUATION STAGE, review the inventory of previous waterproofing repair and maintenance items undertaken.
- During the EVALUATION STAGE, conduct a general visual survey of the waterproofing components and document existing conditions with photographs. Temporary exploratory openings (such as test pits in soil overburden or cut tests in waterproofing membrane) may be utilized to assist in confirming the waterproofing assembly.
- During the PROJECT MANUAL STAGE (Design & Tender), prepare tender documents, specifications and drawings for the removal and installation of a new waterproofing system.

- During the PROJECT MANUAL STAGE, issue addenda and clarifications to bidders’ queries, as required.
- During the PROJECT MANUAL STAGE, receive and analyze bids, and make a recommendation of contract award based on pricing, schedule and qualifications of the contractor.
- During the FIELD REVIEW and CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION STAGE, conduct periodic field reviews of waterproofing elements and issue a field review report after each visit.
- During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, confirm that the appropriate material specifications are being met and liaise with the membrane manufacturer.
- During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, prepare change notices, review and recommend change order prices submitted by the contractor.
- During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, review progress draws and issue certificates of payment.
- During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, prepare Substantial Performance Certificate and contractor’s warranties.
- During the FIELD REVIEW STAGE, prepare a detailed outstanding deficiency list at the time of Substantial Performance and follow-up with satisfactory rectification.
